't Panneland has been one of the popular places on the edge of the dunes for years. The location is absolutely unique and the atmosphere special. What could be more pleasant than to drink a glass of Leffe by the fireplace after a long walk in the Amsterdam water supply dunes, a 3600 hectare nature reserve?
The beaches of Bloemendaal, Zandvoort and Noordwijk are a stone's throw away and offer an abundance of free beach and nice beach bars, from basic to hip & trendy. It is wonderful to walk on the coastline or in the dunes all year round. Especially in summer it is advisable to take a bicycle to enjoy the beach and the sea.

Heemstede has a very attractive center. The Binnenweg is a shopping street with allure. You can walk there in 20 minutes or take the bike. You will find a good variety of nice and "tasty" shops, terraces, bars and restaurants. A listing of our favorites is available in the Boatshed.
